| The Western Massachusetts Wiffleball Association (WMWA) hereby invites you to compete in our 1st annual Summer Wiffleball Tournament which will take place on Saturday, August 14th at 9: 30am at the Springfield Turnverein & German-American Society - 176 Garden Street, Feeding Hills, MA. The WMWA was started in 2007, taking over for the former Turners Wiffleball League, and most of its teams have been playing organized wiffleball for 14+ years. We have 9 fields set up for competitive play with painted lines, targets, fences, and foul poles. Entry fee per team is $85 for pre-registered and pre-paid teams or $100 for walk-on teams. Leagues sending multiple teams are encouraged to contact us for a deal! The tournament will be awarding cash prizes based on the total intake with money going to the winners as well as the runner-ups. Rules are based on standard wiffleball non-baserunning formats with a few minor adjustments - very similar to the rules used in HRL tournaments. Concessions (food and drinks) will be availible on the field, and Adult Beverages can also be purchased at the on-site bar inside the German-American Club.
